We are offering 7 nights yoga retreats in May, July and September with additional painting courses , hiking or horse riding.
Yoga courses at Château le Tour will be available to all visitors during their stay and can be booked several days in advance.
Yoga is a traditional practice which is nevertheless very relevant to life today. Yoga is accessible to everyone and is within reach of everyone, even without previous experience. It can be beneficial in maintaining both mental and physical good health, enabling you to make the most of your time and allowing you to enjoy your stay to the full.
The aim of Yoga is to achieve a balance between body and mind, between the individual and his/her environment, the aim being a state of well-being of the whole person. There are different means which all lead to the same end; each individual chooses the way that suits them best. All yogic approaches help develop physical and mental balance even though they may differ one from another.
My classes in this magnificent setting offer the opportunity to take some time for yourself, to reconnect with your body and to take a deep breath, a first step in getting rid of accumulated tensions and stresses. As the classes progress we shall gradually explore the wider world of Yoga with reference to some of the traditional texts.
